Diana Starkova

you beat the lap time record of 7:41:27 (minutes) at the famous Nürburgring's Nordschleife (race track) set by Aaron Link in 2012!?

Diana:  I don't know if I would beat this lap time, but for sure I would try to do it! Auto-racing is a big passion of my life, but this sport always has two sides: courage and fear. I just watched new movie "Rush" about Niki Lauda and James Hunt; it is such a real movie. I am kind of similar to Niki Lauda. I do love racing. I can spend lots of time thinking about technical details. I may drive with courage and no fear. I love winning. I just simply enjoy the driving, but unfortunately this sport is dangerous, and some great racers I knew died on the track. So I will be always agree with Niki Lauda; racing is cool, but you have to be safe, and sometimes you win, and sometimes you give up if conditions are not ideal. So I am kind of a double face racer.

Andrew:  Like me you also have an immense passion for travelling.  While I was travelling throughout the entire continent of Europe during the summer, you travelled to Bangkok, Venice, Barcelona, Vilnius, Paris & Turkey.  For me, I love the sense of adventure that comes with exploring new, exotic cities/countries that I’ve never seen before & my knowledge increases exponentially when I fully immerse myself in a wide array of different cultures.  What is so special about traveling extensively for you, personally?

Diana:  I totally agree with you Andrew exactly, increasing your knowledge, exploring the world and learning new cultures. I think it is making our personalities bigger, it gives opportunity to have a more wider outlook on the world and life, so it helps a lot generally, making us wiser, developed. And traveling is already my life. Croissants in Paris is something I need often. I enjoy traveling in my life, and shopping at the Spanish Zara, walking the red carpet at Cannes and eating fried camembert in Prague. On Sunday I am actually going to Prague, than to Greece and than to South Korea.  The world has become very small like one big city, and I like it.

Andrew:  The last time we spoke you told me your favourite getaway was the enchanting Silhouette Island on Seychelles, and the beautiful city of Busan in South Korea!!!  Now that you’ve travelled to so many other places since then, what are your new, exotic getaways that you’d consider to be hidden gems?

Diana:  Andrew since last time I discovered Venice as a very beautiful city. I went there because of the Film
