Diana Starkova

Festival, but it is such a beautiful place that absolutely everybody must visit it at least once. And I am absolutely in love with Barcelona. This city will always be in my heart as one of my most favorite. I never ate so tasty food as in Barcelona, the best French fries, bread with tomato and Sangria in the world! And the Gaudi buildings are a must see!

Andrew:  What’s your favourite, delectable food to eat from your recent travels?

Diana:  Barcelona is number one city to eat and to drink! Just go to Qu-

Qu restaurant! I ate everything from their menu!

Andrew:  Last year you were reading a book about Benazir Bhutto because you were offered to play a main role in a film based on this book to be filmed in Pakistan, where you were going to play the role of a journalist who helped her write an autobiography.  At the time you were also offered many other enticing projects, such as Hosting the 2012 “Miss Asia Pacific World” beauty pageant.  Did you ever accept the film offer?  Is acting in films something that you will seriously pursue in the future?

Diana:  Yes Andrew, the work on the movie is still going, and my role has been changed to the role of Mrs. Bhutto, so I am having the main role of the movie. And the journalist who helped to write the book will be played by Diana Kubasova, Miss Asia Pacific 2012 runner-up. I do love the filming process, and I just finished a cinematic project called "Soul". I think I will transition to an actress from modeling completely in future. This year I was invited to be a special guest at the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival; it was an amazing experience!

Andrew:  You have a passion for designing and collecting couture dresses, and in the year that you won the “Miss Asia Pacific World” beauty pageant, you first envisioned the perfect national dress and evening gown in your mind’s eye, and then brought the idea to fruition to much acclaim and accolades, such as the Best Evening Gown Award and National Costume Award.   You made the Ukraine proud because for the first time in history, your native country received so many important awards in a grand-slam beauty pageant.  The evening gown you envisioned ending up being the most expensive dress in Ukrainian pageant history, and had such a unique idea surrounding its design with approximately 15,000 Swarovski crystals that were carefully placed together to form the logo of the “Miss Asia Pacific” pageant on the dress.  This extraordinary skill of believing in something you saw
